Mr. Misk is a veteran mining executive with nearly 40 years of global experience across the full mining lifecycle, delivering projects, operational excellence, and strategic growth in leadership roles at junior and major companies. Most recently COO of Lithium Ionic, he advanced an underground lithium project in Brazil, and as CEO of Largo Inc. led a turnaround to US$521 million in revenue and US$316 million net income by 2018. His earlier career at Anglo American, AMG Mineração, RHI Magnesita, and MBR (now Vale) included major mine developments and mineral recovery projects. He has held prominent industry positions, received multiple awards including Brazil Mining Personality of the Year (2019), and holds a Mining Engineering degree from UFMG with executive studies at INSEAD, GIBS, and FGV.
