Mr. Martins has over 35 years of mining experience, having played key roles in project feasibility studies, development, construction and operations of major iron ore, copper, coal and bauxite mines in Brazil and internationally. Most recently, Mr. Martins was the Director of Operations with Vale S/A at its Moatize Coal Mine in Mozambique, where he was responsible for the mine operation, including the mineral processing plants, dams, and associated mining equipment maintenance. The Moatize Coal Mine is a 15Mty operation with 3,300 direct employees and about 3,000 contractors. Prior to Vale, Mr. Martins held the position of Chief Operating Officer with MRN - Mineração Rio do Norte S.A, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of mine operations, including bauxite mines, ore beneficiation plant, dams, railroad and port and equipment maintenance. MRN produces about 18Mtpy of bauxite with a team of 1,200 direct employees and c.1,000 contractors.

Vice President, GeologyMr. de Brito has over 35 years’ experience working as a geologist and exploration team leader of international mining companies, responsible for the planning and development of exploration programs, interpretation of data, project evaluation, drilling stages, ore reserve calculation, geological model development, budget administration, and tenements’ applications. Mr. de Brito is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG #5173) and a member of AusIMM, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM #223453). He is a Competent Person, as defined in the 2012 edition of the JORC Code.

Alex Penha
Corporate Development AdvisorMr. Penha has over 16 years of experience in mining capital markets and the mining industry, including Corporate Development, Equity Research and Investment Banking. He has played key roles on M&A transactions from origination to in-depth due diligence and economic assessment for Board approval and introduction to the capital markets in Canada. Most recently, Mr. Penha was CFO & Corporate Secretary for GK Resources Ltd, VP Corporate Development and member of the Board of Directors of Australian listed fertilizer company Fertoz Limited (ASX: FTZ). Other past roles include EVP Corporate Development & Board Director of Search Minerals Inc. (TSXV:SMY), VP Corporate Development at Aura Minerals Inc. (TSX:ORA), General Manager, Corporate Development at Rio Novo Gold (TSX:RN), Founder and VP Corporate Development at Rio Verde Minerals Development Corp. (TSX:RVD).
Mr. Penha holds an MBA (York University, Schulich School of Business), a B.Sc. Economics, (Rio de Janeiro State University) and a Post-Degree in Corporate Finance (Getulio Vargas Foundation, Rio de Janeiro). He was also a Former Board Member of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC), also acting as Chairman of its Mining Committee.
